PTA : Introduction
THE PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (PTA)
The school has the support of an active PTA. This is managed by a committee of parents/carers and teachers, and all parents/carers of children in school are members automatically. Any number of parents/carers can be elected on to the committee and any parent/carer can join in PTA activities. There is no joining fee or membership card. The PTA organises a variety of functions during the year, both educational and social, and generously raises funds from which many items of extra equipment are bought.
