School Clubs : ICT Clubs
In school we have an ICT Support Asistant, Miss Wilson, who helps with all areas relating to ICT including working with staff and pupils to improve their ICT skills. Starting in the autumn term Miss Wilson has organised an ICT club for staff and pupils at lunchtimes. (Please see timetable for days and times).
Within these sessions the pupils are given different tasks, which are in line with the National Curriculum for ICT, to teach the pupils about different aspects of ICT.
This includes:
* Word documents - importing pictures and transferring information on related topics
* Digital camera - learning how to look after it, how to use it and how to transfer the pictures to documents
* Powerpoint - translate their documents and pictures into a powerpoint presentation.
Below is a collection of work done by children in Yrs 3,4,5 and 6 who were ask to make a front cover for
a book using a word document, a book or poster using Microsoft publisher and finally, a presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint. All names have been removed off their work for confidentiality purposes.
